Montgomery mentions a verse signed L. Digges in the 1623 Folio and his discovery in "that contradictory, doggeral 'epitaph' in 'Timon of Athens.'" On illustrated letterhead of the New Hoffman House, Madison Square. Signed "Yours for the truth, C.A. Montgomery."
